The mandatory coursework consists of 6 modules totaling 120 UK/60 ECTS Credits and lasts a minimum of 1 year.

Mandatory modules:

After each module, learners will take an ending exam. The end-of-module exams are application-oriented essays to help learners review knowledge, apply knowledge in the workplace, and improve the practical environment.

Study with Live Class:

A live class is an online learning session that takes place in real-time, where students and instructors interact in a virtual environment. It mimics the experience of a traditional classroom but takes place over the internet, allowing participants to join from different locations.

5. Join the Capstone course for applied projects

A Capstone Project is a comprehensive, final assignment that MasterHR students complete at the end of their program. It is designed to encapsulate the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their studies. Unlike traditional exams, a Capstone Project requires students to apply what they've learned to a real-world problem or challenge in their field.

SIMI organizes workshops to guide students in completing their Capstone Projects.

6. Complete Capstone with Tutor to finish MasterHR

At the final stage, MasterHR learners will be guided through the implementation and defense phase of the thesis (60 UK/30 ECTS Credits):

  • Capstone Project
  • Defend Capstone Project

During this phase, students will be assigned a supervising lecturer or tutor to assist them. Upon completion, students will record their presentation and submit it to SIMI Swiss.

The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ understanding of contemporary issues in the Engagement of Employees, Organisational Learning,  people management and development. Learners will examine and critically evaluate the purpose and objectives of human resource  management and designing and implementation of HR action plans for promoting employee engagement and organisational performance.

This unit aims to develop learners’ strategic leadership and management knowledge and skills. The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ understanding of the principles and practices of resourcing, Global talent management, performance  and reward management in corporate contexts. Learners will acquire both theoretical and practical understanding of recruitment, selection,  employee retention and dismissal and related aspects of Global talent management. HEAD – Higher Education Accreditation Division is a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB), responsible for carrying out audits and conformity assessments only for Higher Education Institutions at both the institutional level and programmatic level.

HEAD conduct our audits in accordance with the IEC 17065:2012 (Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services) and international regulations for higher education sector such as European Quality Assurance Framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) and Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.

HEAD accreditation aims to ensure accountability of universities and degree programs which boosts public trust and confidence.

7. ISO 21001:2018 (AQS UK)

SIMI Swiss is officially recognized by the Accreditation Quality System (AQS), which is accredited by the European Accreditation - Joint Accreditation Committee (EA-JAC). This accreditation signifies that SIMI Swiss fully complies with the ISO 21001:2018 standards, ensuring high-quality management systems for educational organizations.
 

ISO 21001:2018 specifies requirements for a management system for educational organizations (EOMS) when such an organization:

  • a) needs to demonstrate its ability to support the acquisition and development of competence through teaching, learning or research;
  • b) aims to enhance satisfaction of learners, other beneficiaries and staff through the effective application of its EOMS, including processes for improvement of the system and assurance of conformity to the requirements of learners and other beneficiaries.

All requirements of ISO 21001:2018 are generic and intended to be applicable to any organization that uses a curriculum to support the development of competence through teaching, learning or research, regardless of the type, size or method of delivery.

  • ISO 21001:2018 can be applied to educational organizations within larger organizations whose core business is not education, such as professional training departments.
  • ISO 21001:2018 does not apply to organizations that only produce or manufacture educational products.
